Breaking Waves at Maracas Beach, Trinidad
Maracas Bay is located on the north coast of the island of Trinidad 🇹🇹, an hour’s drive from the capital of Port-of-Spain, via the North Coast Road. Looking out towards the Caribbean Sea, the beach is protected by a deep bay. It is considered to be the most beautiful beach on the island and is famous for vendors selling Bake and Shark, a Trinidadian native dish that consists of deep-fried shark in bake (a fried flat bread).
